CONECT WORKSHOP

Teach each other who you really are.

Six hours. Two profiles. One shared language.

CONECT is a one-day workshop for couples who love each other but feel like they’re speaking different languages. Led by an OPQ-licensed psychologist certified in the Process Communication Model — the communication tool originally developed for NASA. Maximum 5 couples per session.

A different kind of couples work.

Most couples who come to us aren’t fighting because they’ve fallen out of love. They’re fighting because they’re speaking two different languages without knowing it.

CONECT is built on the Process Communication Model — a framework originally developed for NASA astronaut crews and now used by diplomats, crisis negotiators, and thousands of couples worldwide. It reveals how you each communicate, what you need to stay at your best, and how to reach each other when stress gets in the way.

This isn’t couples therapy. It’s one focused day of learning, working in private with your partner, with the guidance of a licensed psychologist. You leave with a map of your relationship and practical tools you can use the next morning.

What CONECT Stands For

Six pillars. One day. A complete framework.

Each letter represents a part of the day and a step in the process. Together, they form a complete arc from arrival to transformation.

C

Connection

Begin by meeting your partner where they actually are — not where you assume they are.

O

Openness

Create the conditions where vulnerability feels safe, even for the guarded partner.

N

Needs

Identify your core psychological needs through the PCM profile — and learn to recognize your partner’s.

E

Expression

Practice saying what you need in the language your partner can actually hear.

C

Care

Learn how to receive your partner’s needs with care, even when they’re different from yours.

T

Teaching

The final step: teaching each other who you really are, so the understanding lasts beyond the workshop.

Your day, hour by hour.

Before the workshop, each partner completes their PCM inventory online (about 30 minutes, at home). The day itself is entirely dedicated to application.

9:00

Welcome, coffee, and introductions. Ground rules for confidentiality and respect. A gentle opening exercise to arrive as a couple.

9:30

Introduction to the PCM framework: the six personality types, their strengths, and the concept of base vs. phase. No jargon — real examples.

10:45

N

Needs

Discover your own profile and your partner’s profile. Identify your core psychological needs. Recognize where you harmonize and where you rub.

12:00

Lunch included

A light lunch served on-site. An informal moment to digest the morning and meet the other couples.

13:00

E

Expression

Under pressure: how your type changes when stress rises. Identify your personal distress sequence and your partner’s — and learn to spot them before they escalate.

14:30

C

Care

Guided role-plays in private between the two of you. Practice reaching your partner in their language. A confidential space — you share nothing unless you want to.

15:30

T

Teaching

Your personalized game plan: key takeaways, phrases that work for your specific profile combination, and three commitments for the next two weeks.

16:00

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this couples therapy?

No, not in the strict sense. CONECT is a training and development activity led by a psychologist. We teach you a framework, apply it to your relationship, and you leave with concrete tools. If your situation calls for deeper work, we can refer you to couples therapy after the workshop.

No. The couple exercises are done privately, just between the two of you. Group discussions focus on the framework and examples, not your personal story. You share only what you want, when you want to.

Absolutely. Many couples attend as a preventive check-in — to strengthen what’s already working and build tools before the inevitable storms arrive. CONECT is as useful when things are going well as when there’s tension.

Full refund up to 14 days before the workshop date. Between 14 and 7 days, 50% refund or free transfer to a later date. Less than 7 days before, no refund is possible, but a transfer can be considered case by case.

Yes. You can split the payment into two parts: a deposit to secure your spot and the balance 14 days before the workshop. Contact us to arrange.

This comes up often. We recommend having an honest conversation with your partner before registering: the workshop requires both people to show up and participate. If your partner is hesitant, a short 15-minute call with the psychologist can often help the conversation.

Because the workshop is a training activity rather than a psychotherapy session, coverage varies by insurer. An official receipt is provided; we recommend checking with your insurance plan whether mental health education or development activities are covered.

One day. One framework. The rest of your story.

Spaces are limited to 5 couples per workshop. Book a free intake call if you’d like to talk it through first, or reserve your spot directly.
